Public Assistance Requested – Attempted Kidnapping in Poway

On 08/08/10, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the victim, a 17 year old female, was walking her dogs through the Countryside Apartment complex located at 12572 Oak Knoll Road in the city of Poway. The victim reached the dog park located in the rear of the apartment complex when an unknown male grabbed her arm. The male attempted to pull the victim behind the laundry building adjacent to the dog park. The suspect released the victim and ran away after the victim’s two dogs came to her aid. The suspect entered the passenger side of a dark colored 4-door sedan and fled the area.

Attempted Kidnap, 1700 Manzana Way.

On May 16, 2010, there was an attempt kidnapping at 1700 Manzana Way in the city of San Diego. The suspect was described as a white male, 30-40yrs 5’10-5’11 heavy, with brown hair. The suspect was wearing a gray short sleeve t-shirt and black shorts and was driving a “dull” red sedan. The suspect attempted to grab a 10 year-old juvenile off a bicycle.
